Default Touring in Australia?

I'm over in Australia on business. Drove through the blue mountains in a rent car yesterday . I could help but think it would have been a great trip on my bike.
Has anyone ever came over and spend a couple of weeks riding?
They sure do have a lot of curves on their roads.

Spent four days in SE Australia on an a Fly and Ride out of Fraser HD. Rode along the coast down through the Royal National Forest down to Woolongong. Would have liked to do a lot more, Highly recommend it. We also spent one day riding the Coromandel Loop in Northern New Zealand, was great riding, lots of twisties

I have rented a few times from Eddie Garner in melbourne- which has you ready to hit the coast and ride West on the great ocean road.

awesome riding.

have ridden areas south and west of sydney but each time I go to Oz I hope for extra time in Melbourne.

It is often suggested that things like putting forks in your hair or toothpaste behind the ears will deter the creatures.[

haha yes i believe both of these options work well.

you guys definitely need to come down to oz and do some riding. we have heaps of great roads and scenery to enjoy. also heaps of great weather to enjoy it in too. would hope that some of you even make the trek over the west. well worth it. south west of oz is gods country.

While these deterents have worked in the past, it seems lately there is a new more deadly species of the drop bear and so far the only remedy has been to stay away from Gum trees and especially do not ride under them.
These ice smoking Drop bears can take on men twice their size and leave them in a bloodied screaming mess.
Especially be careful if you ride alone!!
Once they drop onto the rear of your bike you are helpless against them.
Be careful!!!
