This same rumor has been going around for years! Right now the FLTR is at it's height of popularity, it ain't gonna happen.

I wouldn't be surprised. It would be the likely bike to be replaced by the water cooled touring Harley next year.

If true, what in the world are they thinking???

I know it doesn't sell in the numbers that the Street Glide does but it still sells (at least I think so).

I just hate to see my favorite style go away.

well if they go away no biggy, uglyest bike they make thats why I traded the 07 ultra classic for a 12 RGU, took 3 days to adjust to fairing not moving now I wonder why I hated them. alot better ride than a Classic.

I would also poo-poo it if this person was just a salesman and also if this dealership didn't go back to the 50's. This is a VERY credible source.

Coming from this person, it has a heck of a lot of weight to it.
Will he share what he's smoking ??

The rumor is they are dropping the RG from the CVO line next year, and in 15 it will make a return with some radical changes (h2o)?

@metfancowboy: nice pic (how I remember those days and that team).

I know that they (HD) have a lot of trouble getting these engines to cool above 103 CI. The 125 they sell is only to be used on dragstrips as they cannot run for very long durations.

I've also heard the rumors of them moving to water cooling so what you state ties into that at least.

Not that I need to move above my 103 anyway, how fast do you need or can you really go?
