That was pretty cool, but Vrod ride nothing like a tourning bike. I rode one a few years ago at the demo days for sh*%s and grins. It was fast but totally not me.

Thought it had a 5 gal tank like the ultra!

 

The 2006 and newer Vrods do. The 2002-2005's except for the StreetRod have a 3.8, but I think the usable was only about 3.5. Had to have gas for mine about every 110-120 if I was riding easy.

 

The V-rod was originally designed around 20 years ago. By an outsider, who didn't work for HD. He sent the drawings to HD, they scrapped it and put it on the shelf. Said it's way to future. 20 years later, someone from HD see's the disk, dusts it off, low and behold, looke here......, built the bike. HD takes all the credit, until an HD oldtimer see the finished product and says...... wow you guys built so-so bike??????????
The real story will develop, soon & by HD. They need to make it right and they said they would. So we wait and see. I heard with-in a year????????????????????

It does have a 5 gal tank but it ain't the tank that you can see. It's under the seat.
