Hello I am getting this motor build done within the next week.

s&s 106 big bore kit
s&s ez start 551 cams
adjustable push rods
power vision
.030 head gasket

2012 street glide with freedom performance true duals/hope to have some mgs true dual on it. what do you think if I was to go with the tw 555 cams would it need compression release or be hard to start?

I searched through here and couldnt find this combo and was wondering what you guys think and what kinds of HP and torq do you think it will get

You might find a little more hp/tq in a different cam selection, just my thoughts, any headwork ?

 

No head work, If I was to go with the woods 555 would I need the compression release or will it be fine as is? which cams would you recommend?

 

You should have automatic compression releases from the factory on a 2012 Bagger.

 

Personally, I would lean towards the 570s over the 551. When I get to the shop, we dynoed a 106 kit with some heads and i did a mild clean up on, and I wanna say it made 108/115 ish... With a tw6-6 I believe.
