I am 5' 7" and i like the look of the fairing mounted mirrors, all i could see was my knuckles. So off they came and i went with stem mirrors on my bars. I too am one that uses my mirrors. Cool looking is just that, cool not safe nor the lil tiny rear lights. JMO

Thanx for the compliment Larry.

The Wicked Imiages have a bit of adjustment to them,
so they can be adjusted up and out, and down as the case may be.
I couldn't do that w/the plastic OEM's, as their not designed to do that I could/can see.

Can you see any of your hand/knuckles?
Yeah a bit, but they are much better than the OEM's and you stay in the pocket of the fairing and maintain the clean look.

Looks like I might try those mirrors too, lions. With my 11's I see well enough out of the stock mirrors, but i can't turn the stockers at a downward angle enough. Looks like the extra lenght of those is just what I'mlooking for.

I like my mirrors adjusted to view the lane next to me moreso than directly behind me. The factory mirrors work for me.

I adjust them out so that my arms/elbows are visible at the inner edge of the mirror and that gives a great view to the left and right for safe lane changes.

I've never had an issue with someone directly behind me and so close that I didn't know they were there or couldn't see them in the mirror(s) as they were approaching.

I have the Wicked Image, too. Followed lionsm's recommendation last spring. I'm very happy. Enough wider to make a difference, minimal vibration.

May have already been posted but I have seen many folks with the bat wing mirrors also have mirrors mounted on the stems from the handlebars.
