Bummer, I would hate to ride in that weather with my heated grips and seat, full face helmet, Polar fleece, etc.

Thumbs up Cold Air Theory.....

The cold air makes me feel more alive, I swear I feel the bike breathing better and feeling more alive too.......

My bike must be the odd ball. It vibrates more in colder weather.

No brother...just trying to stretch out my riding season. The New Hampshire winter months depress the hell out of me!

Mine seems to love 55-60 degrees. Runs like a beast at those temps.

Took my RK and my in-line 4 out the same day to run some stabil thru them before parking for the winter. RK ran a little rough at first, but came around to normal within a mile or so. Wanted to get some stabil into the WOT carb circuits on the 1100, so started rolling it up slowly in 2nd, cruising at about 50mph, and the front end lifted 6" to 12" of the ground, surprised , I got out of it. It sure did like that 50 degree temp though. I did end up getting the WOT mission briefly completed in higher gears and kept the front tire on the ground, although barely at times from what I remember. It was really pulling hard and loving the dense air.

Ended up taking the RK out a week or two later for 150 miles and may again.

I haven't been able to ride since the end of September due to a ruptured achillies
tendon, so I'll be doing my pre-winter storage ride(s) in December. I'll try to remember to appreciate how well the bikes are running.
