off in the cage today but did 150 miles yesterday , got the bikes toped off just incase it is the end , going to put them in my shed this week end and let the wife have the garage back for the winter but will not give up till the salt hits the roads then its night night till spring , or atleast a real good rain

 

On the bright side, you can take pics of what your rides look like in winter. All we have here are brown yards and dead flowers, not to photogenic. Difference is only greenery or brownery.

 

I took mine out for a ride today and topped off the tank with some stabil. But if it's decent out and no salt on the road she'll be out again!!

 

Northern Nevada gets cold and snow in the winters but there are warm winter days too. Longest I've parked is a few weeks, but that is mostly because of a lack of days off rather then weather. I miss southern California & southern Arizona winter weather for sure, but don't miss the traffic.

BINGO!!! I love to ride,but dont mix the two.

 

Went for a ride with the wife today from Crystal Lake to Elgin and back. Got caught in the cold rain coming home. But even with the weather, putting miles on the bike in the rain is still better then putting miles on in the car. Still not ready to put her up for the winter...

 

Last Ride of the season, What in the He$$ is that??????????????????, are We starting the Thread of the Pussifcation of the American Biker again?

 

You guys in the bad weather zones are more then welcomed to come down here to SC and ride with us anytime. We are fortunate to have great riding weather year round. Certainly, the winter time is usually in the 40s or 50s once it warms up in the morning, so a little gear is needed. But for you guys that's probably not classified as cold at all. It wont be long til the 2013 Daytona rally, so keep that in the back your minds as a possibility. Trailer it out of the snow and hop on!!
