Got 7k on mine( Bombers with mid-rumbe baffles) and love 'em. I gutted the cat in the headpipe and it is a tad louder than stock. I can ride all day or start the bike at 3am when I ride to work with no complaining from neighbors. If you're looking for something fairly quiet that breathes I think you'll be happy with them...

Running the American Custom with mid-range baffle, with a decatted headpipe. They were louder than stock, but barely. Took out my trusty drill and went to work on the baffles. Drill a couple holes/install/test ride...repeat as necessary until you get the sound you want. Definitely use blue locktite on the screws that retain the baffles.

I have them, and like 'em. Got the mid range baffles too and like the other post I drilled holes in 'em. Ran them along time with no baffles and like the sound, but my bike wants to pop on decel and I kinda got tired of that for awhile. ans. I would do it again. plus they are not 800.$

Tell me about the no baffles option ("Deep Growl", yes?) - I want to know how loud they are, compared to say... Rineharts which is the other pipe I'm considering.

I would like to make some noise, but not quite obnoxious. On my Heritage I had Big Shots staggered, *loved* those pipes.

Talk to me...

I cut the baffles out of the stock pipes (which I hear is all AC does) along with the cat out of the header and the sound is like a car whose muffler has fallen off.....

I didnt like it....

The deep growl I was told by the company DOES have baffles.
Then there is an option to get other baffles.
BUT , what I like to know is how the Crome holds up ?
Anybody else put this company's product on there bike ?

I ran mine with out the baffles for a while but the wife would say her ears were ringing after a long ride. I drilled a few extra holes in the mid range baffles and got a great balance between rumble and not. I'm happy!!
