Default Road King/Street Glide Rear Signal Swap?

I'm looking to make some changes to my 2011 Road King Standard. I'm going to install the bullet turn signal kit in the front that eliminates the running light/towel bar & stock turn signals.

What I'd like to do is make the rear signals match the front ie switch from the stock pancake style to bullets. Ideally, a bullet turn signal set that just replaced the the stock pancakes and kept the stock rear turn signal bar would appear to be the easy way out but I just haven't been able to locate such an animal.

The other option I'm considering is getting the part number for a stock FLHX (Street Glide) rear turn signal bar and bolting it on. If that's even possible. I found a rear bullet turn signal bar in the catalog but it doesn't look like it has the license plate light in it and my tailight len doesn't have a clear bottom in the reflector or the tailight. Nevermind that I'd have a wire unattached to anything after that.

So after all that, the question is:

Will a stock FLHX rear turn signal bar fit my King and is it pretty much plug and play?

I've been here and on the net for about 2 hours but really haven't really found anything for sure.

Thanks

Can't help with most of the questions you have but the run/stop/turn bar on the Street Glide does have a plate light on the bottom. If you think you want to go that route they are ebay pretty often.

It was plug and play for my Road Glide light bar swap. However I have an older bike it might be different.

I saw the bullet lights that mount to existing signal bar in a catalog, I think it was Custom Chrome. They have the base shaped like the stock base so they match up. I'll double check when I see the catalog later and confirm it was Custom Chrome.

Here they are, might need to modify wiring for newer bike though?

The '09 street glide rear bullet light bar assembly 68997-09 is a direct bolt on. Harley also sells a bullet lights that mount to the stock light bar 691536-03 but they come with all four lights.

Thanks guys! I got the Road King kit for the front and deleted the spot lights, turn signals and all the hardware. I really like the look of the headlight without all that stuff in the way.

I went with the bullet kit of 4 to do the back because the Street Glide rear bar was almost twice what the conversion was. All in all it was an easy install. I'm gonna go out and ride it in the morning. ;-)
