They have a book I believe, and they had several articles in Motorcyclist mag.

If you like this sort of stuff (and who doesn't!) Jupiter's Travels by Ted Simon is required reading.
This is their website: www.keithkimber.com Loads of pictures for those who like looking at bike travel . . .

As the Forewood's are aussies, I have been following their ride reports for years. Hell of an effort and a wonderful experience.

They virtually refused to pay bribes to border guards/customs and sometimes camped out for several days near the crossing until 'customs' officials crumbled and let them through.

I was under the impression that they were not wealthy, but more thrifty. They seemed to have figured out how to travel the world on a shoe string budget.

It's a dream for many of us, but as Americans, it's not possible for the time being.

Shipping a bike around the world is not affordable for everyone. Let alone the spending cost for many trips.
I can't even afford to shop my bike from FL to CA.
I think I stick with the "winning lottery" guess.
Just saying.

My big question, how does one afford to do this?
Have to pay for food ,fuel, oil, camp, or hotel, shipping $$$$$$$$$$$.
