Default Anybody have a picture of an Airhawk seat pad on an electra glide

I am looking at this one: http://www.airhawkseatcushions.net/p...e-cruiser.aspx - Airhawk Large Cruiser. And how much does it raise you up?

Thanks!

Sorry, no picture. It might raise you up 1/2" to an 1". The key to these is not to put too much air in them. You will think that it is flat, when in fact it is allowing air to move from one place to another as you move around.

+1. Also, I purchased the newer version with the front cut out allowing more room for your "junk" which I like. I don't use it while riding local but love it when on the bike hours and days at a time. I use it on my 08SG.

If your Air Hawk raises you up that much you have way too much air in it.
It should not raise you up more than about 1/4".

The absolutely least amount of air in the pad you can get away with works the best. I have had my Air Hawk for 4 years and find that when used properly it will double my seat time.

Every year I try putting more air in it and then end up bleeding all the extra air out to make it work properly. There should only be air under you in the high spots. All the low spots should be nothing but the rubber bladders and fabric covering between you and the seat.

How it looks on my bike doesn't matter because I take it off every time I stop for more than a few minutes so some low life doesn't steal it. The neopreme bottom will not move once you sit on it, so you don't need to use the straps....

You're probably right. I never took the time to put a tape measure on it.
