Default CVO Road Glide rider backrest adjustment

I just picked up a used '09 CVO Road Glide rider backrest. I must say it matches the hammock seat perfectly. It was also the easiest installation for a Harley part I've ever experienced.

Since it was used though, I didn't receive any instructions and I can't find any online either. I noticed the four holes on the mount for adjustability, but most of the backrests pads have another adjustment on the pad using an allen wrench. I don't see any such adjustment on this pad. Anybody know anything about other options to adjust these CVO backrests other than the four mounting holes on the bracket?

Also, it doesn't "lay down" for easy mounting of the bike. I know some of the after market backrests had this feature, so I wasn't sure if this was normal or not. Anybody know?
