Default How do you replace this?

Has anyone had to replace this cover? The spring popped out. I had saved the spring but cannot put it back in. That would require significantly younger eyes than mine.
I'm not sure the pics are attaching. It is the door that covers the communication plug.
Is it a part that can be purchased?

Yea! I think if you do a search on Ron's you can get the part #. Also Dawg posted the number on here a while back. Do a search through Dawgs Posts.

My brother just replaced his. Said he took off the fuel door to hold the plug in while he screwed on the new cap.

I have had mine come apart a couple of times. The ring nut backed off but was fortunately captured by the flip door. I check it regularly now. I just looked at mine and I don't see how the spring could just pop out unless it broke.

Thanks for the info. Even picked up some assembly tips in another thread. I'll be hitting the dealer tomorrow.
