Awesome ride, congrats. I love my 11 RKC. I think I will do the reflector-ectomy also. Been thinking about it just haven't done it.
Just take some heavy fishing line like spider wire tied between 2 large bolts and just slide it behind the reflectors and they come right off. Clean off the adhesive residue with some wd-40 or goo gone and your good to go. Took all of two minutes and looks 100% better without them on there.

Awesome, thanks for the info. Are you guys removing the ones on the fork lowers as well as the one's on the bag guards?

Just out of curiousity, why would you intentionally do something to make you LESS visible to traffic approaching from the side? Those two reflectors are the only thing that catches light on the side of the bike as you can see in this picture, where just the little flash on my point and shoot camera made them pop out, nothing else reflected the light at all. Personally, I want to be seen.

I did, took them all off. The ones on the fork pulled off by hand and didn't even leave any glue to clean off. The ones by the bags well.... those were a mess.
Thanks for all the kind words, went on a little 100 mile "long lunch" today since the weather is so nice in Texas. I know now I made the right choice on this bike. Some of the roads I ride often and used to sort of dread on the Fat Boy went by today just as smooth as could be. I didn't realize how much difference that 6 speed made either. King Comfy. And yes, I'm sure the windshield will get some use this winter but it's 85 here today so...
I did get the Harley hand pump for the shocks but I haven't checked to see how much air is in them.
When you guys ride solo with no weight in the bags do you run with no pressure like the manual says or do you still add a little? My book says 0-10 for under 200 lbs, I'm 185. Guess I should see how much is in them.
Thanks!
Picture from my lunchtime ride. Still can't get a good photo, too much glare.
Enjoy the King Club. I've been a member for 4 years and loving it. It's the guest long distance HD of them all, it keeps you in touch like an Ultra won't and it keeps you and the lady happy like a Dyna don't. Best of both worlds.
