Lower Handlebars on 2009 Streetglide

you can rotate them downwards a bit.
1.) remove ignition switch ( watch the youtube videos)
2.) remove lower dash
3.) Cover the tank with a nice thick towel
4.) loosen the 2 bar clamps that are now accessible ---slightly...
as I recall the clamp bolts are 1/4" allens- you can use a 1/4" drive screwdriver bit as a tool.
insert butt end first into the allen, turn it with a wrench
5.) rotate bars to new position- go NO LOWER than the setting which leaves you 3/4" clearance between the controls and tank when the bars are turned to full lock left and right
( the clamps are on rubber bushings so you need to allow for the bars moving if someone puts a bunch of weight on them)
6.) tighten
put back together
