Mine was changed with HD's upgrade kit to hydraulic tensioners. Had it done in the off season here when the dealer discounts their price and the mechanics aren't rushed.
I paid 11k including the two year warranty. I wasn't sure if the TC88 was an interference engine or not. Considering I have the two year warranty, it may be a better idea to just ride it out and hope it fails before the warranty is up.

I have a sporty and am familiar with the quad cam design, but have never owned a twin cam before. Is there anyway I can take a peek and see if mine have been replaced?

I honestly have no idea if the previous owner did the work, but if I had to venture a guess, he might have. The bike is in near mint condition.

We are still in chaos here on the eastern sea board and I have been itching to ride! I might decide that I want to look for some wind deflectors for my legs. Are there any good ones out there that don't cost an arm and a leg?

Also, can anyone recommend a good source for a factory HD manual for this bike? Clymer is pretty good, but I would prefer the HD manual as I plan on owning this bike for a long time and am sure I will have to freshen the top end at least once.

Sorry for all the jumping around, but we are still in chaos here on the east coast and I am not sure when I will be able to get on the forum again.

Get your factory service manual at local dealer. Parts book recommended as well. My '03 cam chain tensioners lasted 45,000 miles. Very nice looking Standard you got there.
