where to park trailier around sturgis
#11
You go and pull off that 1500 miles each way, making it in less than a day and a half, spend a few days in Sturgis, then make the same ride home (hopefully taking a new route). Then look back a year later and you will find that it was the RIDE and the adventure that was more special amd memorable than the time spent up there.
That being said, I still understand trailering. There will come a day that I will no longer be able to physically make these cross country rides, and I don't intend to give up my bike when that day comes. I'll be getting a nice trailer to enjoy the country with as well.
Parking depends quite a bit on when you arrive. Parking spots dwindle to nearly none during the heart of the event. Several people prefer to get up there the week before. There are less crazed people and most all of the vendors and displays are already going full force. Then spend your last days/nights just enjoying the party before heading back.

Call the cops then if it bothers you that much. I even clarified I live about 30 miles down the road...surprised you didn't correct me by saying its technically 31.2 or something along those lines.

Well, I guess that you could of said that you lived in Hermosa.
That's only 20 miles down the road too.
Do you think that Black Hawk and Piedmont are consdered to be Sturgis too then, as they're even closer yet?
That be the case I guess that we call Deadwood and Spearfish Sturgis too..
Here I was thinkin' that you might be a cool person...
So much for thinkin', Mr. Sturgis.. indeed.
