Heres the shoes in my 06 Road King last week at 20k miles, no wear whatsoever, not even a groove. I run only dinosaur(mineral) oil in the bike, dont engine brake eccessively. I checked because I was concerned, now im not worried about it at all.

Some guys like the upgraded oil pump that comes with these kits, remember that the oil is responsible for alot of cooling in these motors. That oil has to "hang around" long enough to absorb heat. In 07 with the 96" motors they upgraded to this new oil pump, 96s run hot as hell. Just some food for thought, ill keep my original oil pump I think.
