Ive searched for and older post and if anyone can point me in the direction would be helpful.

I have a 1995 Road King and i want to swap from old leather bags to newer hard bags. The bottom and bike side of my current bags are ABS. My lower bag support bars look to be the same as newer ones, but im not sure if the top mounts that recieve the bolts or 1/4 turn quik disconnect pins are the same. I found a set of OEM '08 bags locally for a decent price and am curious if they will be a direct fit or if ill need to modify mounting.

 

Others can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe 93-up will work (except police bikes)

If you stop in at a dealership and infer you might buy from them the parts dept would tell you if it's possible....once you get the info say you'll get back to them.
