stupid ???
can these be put in upside down?/ had mine out this weekend,, put it back in and it is shining way to far up,, did not mess with the rt,,lt,,up,,dwn ,, adjusting screws,, just pulled the outer ring,, and light holder ring,, but it seems to be shining quit a bit higher than it was,,

 

Make sure it's flush. All three screws holding it in should bottom out. There's guides and edges the assembly can get hung up on.

 

What Nute said plus, NO the H4 wont seat properly anyway but the right way. It's idiot proof, ask me how i know!!! Redo what ya did and it will be an easy fix. Good luck
