Default Vance and Hines true dual owners ??

New to me Ultra has the system installed. Looks good, clean lines.

A bit too loud. I see quiet baffles are available. Do any of you have them?

What do you think about the sound? I have had stock pipes on my last few bikes, really not bad at all but I do want just a little more sound for safety.

Will the quiet baffles be somewhere between stock and the standard VH sound? They want $60 for a pair, seems steep, but my ears and neighbors will thank me.

Thanks.

Big Shot Duals, 1 3/4 headers 2 1/8 muffler bodies, almost like drag pipes, there is a baffle installed but I think it is likely the standard, I want to quiet the pipes.

Is there another way ?

I had the V&H true dual headers with the SE touring mufflers on my 05'. that setup sounded good but was mellow enough not to rouse the neighbors out of bed when i was leaving for work. I have a friend that runs stock muffs with his true duels, it is just a little louder than stock.

I had big shots on a Dyna Fatbob and the quiet baffles mellowed it out quite a bit, also made it a little lower tone and a little more low end. Different pipes but the same baffle.

+1 on the V&H true dual headers with the SE touring mufflers, not to loud, not too quiet, just right

To answer the OP....yes the baffles will let you be in between stock and loud. I think you will be satisfied.
