Try a HD dealer, I've used them before, sometimes they have ramps that they'll let you use.

I would rent one of these for a day, you could unhook and raise the tongue, block the wheels and push her up. I think they go for about 20 bucks

Have you checked U-Haul to see what it would cost to rent one of their open motorcycle trailers? Its even set up with a built-in wheel chock. Then not only do you not have to worry about the ramp, you don't have to worry about hauling it your truck bed. Its a much easier off-load from the trailer.

This is the motorcycle trailer from U-Haul: http://www.uhaul.com/Reservations/Eq....aspx?model=MT And don't forget to check both one-way and local prices. Sometimes its a LOT cheaper to bring it back with you than to rent one way.

Never been anywhere I couldn't fine a shallow ditch with the right angle to load and unload. I've also used a trailer with a drop tailgate (truck to trailer, trailer to ground). Have your brother check with the local harley dealer out there. Most have loading and unloading facilities. There are many options for loading and unloading to/from a pickup.

Golf courses have ramps to load/unload the carts out of pickups.

Go to a golf course and ride the bike off the golf cart ramp into the back if the truck. Then unload it the same way.

Good advice here ....... Golf course ramps, shallow ditches, small hills and possible rentals, surely you can utilize one of these ............

Find a hill, ditch or business with a loading ramp.
I have a 3/4 ton 4x4 and use 3-4ft length of 2x10 or 2x12.
