Default 2012 Heated grips not working, options?

My heated grips quit working and fuse is good. Still under warranty but this is my question. If the dealer replaces them under warranty would they let me change to their custom grips and I pay the difference? FT

As long as the new grips cost more than the originals, I am sure that they will be ok with it.

I don't see why they wouldn't, as long as that's what the issue is. If they won't do it I would be asking for a good reason that they can't. There may be an issue with the MOCO as far as the warranty paperwork goes if they see the part was not replaced with the same part. But it does come down to the discretion of the dealer.
