Great dealership experience in N.Y.

Whenever you hear a dealership has "new management" run dont walk there, you can do very well in all aspects at a dealer who is having to combat a bad rep and wants to turn things around.
Service will be better especially if you have a concern about another dealer and tell them that, they often will go though hoops to please you and make you a customer who will do exactly what you are now doing, telling everyone about your good experience.
A bad reputation in dealerships is death to them, so they will do anything to get a good rep.
good rep means more business and that means bonuses for management and more money all around, so whenever you hear under new management it usually means they had issues, gained a bad rep and now they are trying to fix it, good opportunity for a buyer or owner.

NYC in Long Island City, and Liberty. It's easier for me to get to Liberty, but I go to NYC if I can. Both places treat you right.
Jpit11.....glad you have a good record with the local dealer. One bad experience is enough for me. Too many dealers around here to have to put up with crap from any of them.

I have a dealer about 3 miles from me that I refuse to use for service. I go about 10 miles and pay a toll to get better service, and I didn't buy from them either and they treat me great. Actually bought my bike from a dealer about 15 miles away. There are a lot of dealers around here, and some are better than others.
As you can check from my Location, I did not purchase my bike from my local dealer and I do not get service from either.
The bolt that holds the seat backed out and I paid the $12 toll to get one from NJ than spend a dime in that store.
