Default 99 ultra classic shuts off while ridding

i was ridding my bike to work,after around 10 miles of ridding it just died,never did that before,checked for fuel and it had fuel ,with a screwdriver checked for spark from the spark plug wires and no spark,i decided to jump the battery and after charging the battery it cranked right up.rode for like five minutes and died again,charged the battery a bit more and cranked ,repeated the same untill i got it home,has anyone been thru this before,thanks for all suggestions.

If your battery is going dead, chances are the battery is bad.
(You need to check and clean your battery cables).

It's also possible the something else (voltage regulator or stator) is not working properly.

Is your voltmeter working and is it reading between 13 and 14 volts?

What kind of battery volts with key on engine off? You could have too low of battery voltage to run the computer. Check your charging system or the battery it self.
