I am trying to decide which luggage rack to put on my chopped tourpak. The mini seems useless, so I am down to the "contoured tour-pak luggage rack" for $146.95 or the"premium tour-pak luggage rack" for $114.95 (larger, but cheaper, go figure). Any thoughts, aside from the obvious size difference? Anyone have one and wish they had the other?
Local stealer has a big sale on Feb. 10th, so I will be paying them a visit.Thanks.

 

It really depends on what you want it to do. Do you want to go for great looks or do you want good looks and functionality? The premium would best suit you if you plan to carry luggage up there. It has a much wider stance.

 

I bought the one like on soos's bike. Its larger so that if something you strap on it doesn't rub against your pak.

And "soos" how do you post a picture on the post like the one you have but it will be my picture of course.

The H-D sidecar rack looks really sick on the chopped tour pack.

 

I have the contoured rack on my king tour pak,didnt want or need all the size of the premium. I paid $75.00 for a brand new contoured rackdelivered to my door,bought it off e-bay from a harley dealership clearing out overstock,but that was 1 1/2 years ago now. The contoured rack give plenty of room to tie down a bag/roll ,guess it's what you like,I personally didnt want the same as everyone else seems to have bolted on their tour paks,i think the slightly smaller rack gives a neat look

 

It really depends on looks or function.
I have the Premium on mine becauseI use it.
I have a T Bag that fits it perfectly and adds to my storage on touring.

Contour rackfor me. Not too big, not too small, just right. Looks great on the chopped tourpak. But still has some function. See pic in the hills of West Virginia on our way to Daytona Beach.
