C&C Solo & Lg Pillion
Cant seem to find much about their pillions, those that have their large pillion,is your passenger happy with it? Thinking I may go solo/w backrest and pillion.I'm not far from Corbin so I could do the ride-in too, just kinda leaning towards C&C...any comments much appreciated.

I have the C&C solo with the small pillion which I will probably never use. I ordered it just to have it thinking I might set a bag on it but then I ordered a solo rack. Maybe someone else will chime in but I would say the large pillion would probably be good for the occasional passenger.I wouldn't think it would be ideal for long distance on a regular basis. I would probably tell you to look at the sport tourer model if you are going to have a passenger on a regular basis. I have had Corbin in the past and really liked their product but the number of customer complaints kept me from ordering my last seat from them. I decided to try C&C because of their reputation on the forum. Their seats are excellent quality and their service is great. I ordered their product having never seen any of their seats in person or being able to sit on one until I received mine. I would advise passing on Corbin and suggest you try a C&C.

Yep, I can tell you about both. Originally bought the solo with the 10" pillion. Great for short trips, no longer than 2 hours out and 2 hours back. So with longer trips I had to put on my Sundowner. Called Chuck for options on his 2 up and he says " don't order a 2 up, we just released a 13" pillion " long story short I had him put softer foam in it and now the OL loves it. I now have 3 seats in one, solo, solo with smaller pillion for bike nights, and the 13" pillion for when the tour pack goes on. Going to sell the Sundowner now.

I recently got the corbin clasic solo with rider backrest and their larger pillion. I very happy with the whole set up.
If you are close enough to corbin, I suggest you at least ride down there and see thier product in person.
One thing I realy like about corbin, is you do not see any hardware. The seat removes and installs with a key, no tools required. This makes for a very clean look.
