Have a chance to buy BUB TD headpipes and mufflers for a great deal, but there off of a 07, 96". My RKs an 06, 88". Now I know certain manufacturers list fitment as 95-08 (V&H) but on the BUB website, they list fitment of there true dual as, 95-06, 07-08, then 09 and current.

Just wondering if these pipes will fit on my 88", if its just a matter of different mounting systems I can fabricate the required mounts.


Anyone have any insight on this?

Yes, they will fit your 06, but you will need the plugs for the O2 sensor bung ports. They screw into the bungs and the plugs you can get from various vendors. I have a set of 07-08 headers on my 05, but I used the O2 bung ports for the sensors on the auto tuner. If you don't have sensors you can just cap off the ports.

Shouldn't have to. Maybe some antiseize if you are planning to open the plugs again, but just put them on nice and tight or torque specs if Bub has them on their site.

The system on my 1990 bike below is for an 08, which I fitted plugs in. My dyno man actually likes to have the ports as he can put sensors in them while setting up the bike.
