ready for new tires
well its about time to replace my rear again and had not planned on switching from the stock tread till yesterday. loal indy shop offered me a deal on tires and i think its hell of a deal. he told me i can pick between the met 880 or the dunlop elite mounted and blanced for $350 for both and that him taking them off bike and putting them back on. i paid over that just for the rear last time i changed it. i have mets on my triumph but its hard to judge the tire on it and what it will be on this one, i dont ride it as hard as i do the SG. since the $$$ is same, what you guys like for mostly always riding mtn curves and i ride very agressive on curves and i also ride rain alot so i def want it to hold as good or better than stock. i have searchd on here and it goes both ways but most i see are ppl who havent actually run both tires or dont do the type of riding i do. and am i getting as good of a deal as i think? thanks for any input

Sounds like a pretty decent deal you got. I have been running the E III's for a few years and been getting 10 to 12 K out of a rear. Excellent tire that works awesome in any riding condition you can throw at it. BTW I am usually a pretty aggressive rider myself riding in the mountains of NC and VA but currently in Florida.
