SE Street Performance Tuner

I haven't heard anyone say that they do the same things? If you want to see for yourself, look at page 10 for a direct comparison from the factory. You will also see for yourself that the engine warranty goes out the door with the super tuner. That's factory info, not from a dealer (they don't have any authority re: factory warranty btw)

but the way I read the 1st couple of post's I felt it was "implied" this was the greatest thing since sliced bread, and would accomplish anything any of the other tuners would.
I have 1st hand experience with the SEPST (pro) from my 07 Dyna, which was wide open as far as adjustments, auto tune capability, etc...and did keep my warranty in tact, for it was used after I installed (not the dealer) the SEPST.
But, when I bought my 1st bagger I didn't like the fact I had to spend another $450 on a new SEPST, for the one that married my Dyna was now a paper weight setting in a drawer in the office. I can only assume the Street Tuner operates under the same protocol?
This sent me in the direction of the Power Vision, which allowed me to buy a 2nd liscense ($199) and marry my new 2012 Classic.
I didn't approach this thread with any bias, just trying to apply some checks and balances.
Enjoy your'e new tuner, and ride safe.

yes, the street tuner is 'married' to the ECM. Seems the new one has many features previously unavailable. Smart tune and afr adjustability in addition to many maps that will do the work for you, instead of sweating over ve, ignition, decel. enleanment, etc,. ,etc.
Nothing wrong if one WANTS to do all that, but there is value in plug and play with parameters created by the ones who created the machine. Happy riding!

Street tuner , works for me too
Hey all, just a note about the new SE street performance tuner. It rocks! It's only $249 now and you DO get smart tune capability and a range of adjustments and maps, etc., etc. The range available is excellent; if you want to go 13.8 closed loop and 12.8 open, you can. ( I left mine at 14.3 closed and transitioning to 12.8 open) Don't listen to the nay- sayers; this is a great piece of equipment. I used the stage one map for my 2011 flhp with SE A/C and Fatshotz slip- ons. Great throttle response, no popping or pinging anywhere, idles perfectly, etc., etc. Super easy flashing procedure; I'll do a smart tune run and look at all the variables for fun when I have time to burn but right now it runs fantastic.
Just had this tuner installed and SE high flow air filter on my 2010 FLHTK , put on Fuel Moto ceramic coated catless pipes and SE mufflers previously. What a diffence now with the combination working together. Cannot see why anyone would not go with this type of tuner from the MOCO, great value, no dyno needed, bike runs like a beast . Best stage 1 I could get for this 103" baby.
I have had other Harleys with different stage 1 and 2 combinations, PCV , Rev Performance etc this has been the best value for the money on this particular bike to date.
Highly recommend it to anyone looking for plug and play . Now this Harley runs like it should.
