Default Finally an internal cheap antenna that works

Hey guys, I just wanted to let you guys know about an internal antenna that i just installed on my sg. I first ordered an internal antenna on ebay but it really didn't work that well. Then I went to autozone and got a Raptor 14" rubber duckie antenna that was amplified for 20 bucks. I tried it and I was able to get just as good reception as my whip antenna. I placed it horizontally in my fairing. I hope this helps some of you!

I know it seems a little ghetto putting a full size one in my fairing but i have the room so i may as well use it!

I did that same exact thing with the same antenna a couple of weeks ago but I went with the unamplified version. Same reception and only $9. Taking back the HD one that I never opened next weekend. Great cheap mod!

I tired to do that and it was worthless. I'm glad it works for you though.

I bought the antenna that streetglidecota sells on ebay and it works great.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hidden-ANTEN...bc2775&vxp=mtr

It is not powered but the way the foil antenna weaved back and forth the 24" or so of antenna is really about 48" long.

This antenna was recommended to me by a friend and i am very, very satisfied with its performance.
