Okay, I'm done spending for the calendar year! (Pics of yet another round of mods!)

If you haven't ridden with the apes yet, be cautious if you do. The effect is near instant...a whooshing sound as the money flies out of your wallet!
Apes or not, with a chrome front end, a BBP inner would set that bike off! Add chrome control housings and a chrome master cylinder, and it will look beautiful. I know it's a lot of money for a purely cosmetic mod, but so were the forks and wheels!
Don't blame me though....I'm just trying to help stimulate the economy.

I just got it back from the 1000 mile service with Amsoil 20W 50 in the engine, Severe Gear in the trans. Harley HD Formula + in the primary and I got suckered in to nitrogen in the tires for an extra $10 . I also had them ad the chrome front end kit. The total was $1,193.00. I'm done with mods for a while. I just hope we get a few more nice days in Chicago before the snow flies!

ok I'm going to retract my earlier comment cause you pulled me back into the discussion with getting an inner fairing painted..lol. Get the factory version. I too contemplated getting the inner done on my 09 FLHX at a local bod shop but opted for the factory version. Glad I did and you will be too. Come resale time, you'll thank yourself!

Nicky,
Bike looks great, but you need to start doing some of the labor yourself. That $90.00 p/hour labor rate has got to be killing you.
Just think of all the goodies you could buy with the money you're spending on labor.
Get yourself a Service Manual if you don't have one, you probably won't be able to do all your own work, but most stuff is fairly easy.
