Yes it's worth it but it's not a "deal". I missed many that were worth it when I was looking. My advice is if it's what you want pull the trigger and grt to riding.

 

Well i Picked up my 04 EG classic with 14000 miles for $8900. The blue book value was $10300. I was happy with the price i paid. Look up the blue book on it and go from there.

 

Picked up my EGC POE with 14.5K on the odometer. Stage 1, some HD add ons, etc. Really nice condition and well maintained. Got it for 10K back in July.
No Regrets.

While lookin I seen some crappy bikes for more money, then I came upon this one. Just couldnt pass it up.
It makes ME happy.

Offer them 9.5k. That would be a good deal.

 

8k-9k wouldn't pay more then that with that color of engine. there kinda a pain to keep clean and the polished aluminum just never will look as good as chrome. just a thought.

 

Ok so look at the pics in my profile. 2008 standard. I thought it looked kick azz. I didn't pay SG prices, But I did have to mod to get what I wanted. Bottom line if its in your range the standard is a great platform from which to start! Hope this helps and good luck!!

 

Bike is great. I hate all the chrome. 04 was the last of the good years as EPA started to dictate what the MOCO will do.

In this market that is way too high.
I just bought an 07 flhpi for 10,5 with a 103, 6 spd oil cooler, abs, cruise, etc..
You can get a much newer one for 10k$

If you like it buy or look around but remember in springtime the $$$ will be higher. I paid $12700 for my 06 Classic with 4k on it, it was bone stock, not so much anymore This picture is from i was picking it up..
