Default RKC Security System Question

Just bought my first Harley, 2004 Road King Classic. It came with a security key fob. I've read where you need to enter a security code if the fob doesn't work or battery goes dead. The dealer did not know what the code was (he received the bike on trade). Is there anyway to know what the code is and/or change it? Thanks for your help.

the dealer doesn't need to know the code because they can plug into the bike and change it.
