If I dont want to go with an original harley tour pac for my street glide, what would be my least expensive route for a decent pac? Any pics of what someone here has done for their 2012 or so glide?

 

I lucked up and got a used chopped tour pac from a member here and made my own detachable mount. Several vendors make an HD style pac in fiberglass but hinges and latches aren't included with most.

 

You can get an inexpensive ($100) one like this from Mutazu and then get the detachable mounting brackets from Harley.

It is not Harley quality, but pretty good for something you might only wish to use a few times a year.

Comes with hinges and backrest. Options are wrap around backrest and luggage rack.

Looks go along pretty well with the Street Glide stripped down theme. Color will not match Harley perfectly.

 

Try to find you a good used one as suggested. It's hard to beat the quality of the he pack. And the way my wife and I load up I don't won't it to end up on the rd.
