My local indy is trying to talk me into s&s 551 easy start cams for my 12 103 flhx i am looking for low end torque just want somebody with real word expierence to chime in

 

3 Bikes with 103 done at dealership i previously worked at, all three did in the neighborhood of 108 to 111 torque on dyno. The power is smooth and the ez start feature in those cams actually works.

 

Put the EZ 551's in last October when I did my 103 upgrade on my 08 RG. Wow, what a difference. Never a problem starting up in the hot Las Vegas summer, and the low end grunt is awesoome! Do it, you won't regret it.

 

Your 12 should have compression release already why would you need easy start cams ?

They look awesome to me, I was talking to my indy and the local stealer about them. The stealer wants to sell me woods TW555's or SE 255's but will install these if it's what I want. The indy likes these cams for touring bikes especially if you're going to pull a trailer while riding 2 up.

While at the indy's shop a guy was getting dyno'd after getting these installed and I watched as they dyno'd the bike, I'm thinking I'll go S&S when I pull this trigger.
