no baffles

If you like the sound of the Monster Baffles, another option is to install a set of Thunder Torque Inserts along with the Monster Baffles. You will keep the same sound, BUT you will also gain all the lost torque back plus more.

Take out your stock baffles and put some of these in.

It'll sound awesome and you won't lose any power.
I would say that these are pretty close to putting on a 2-1.
I found that to be the case with my softail anyway.

I pulled mine out of 4 in Rhineharts sounded hollow and rang like hell made a 2 mile trip down road came back slide my baffles back in. low end power was at a loss and sounded like crap only sound difference is at idle everything else in the rpm range was minimal difference just my two cents you paid for it as i did mine do what you want with your own.

While I agree with you this is an inexpensive and better option than none, it may not always gain back all the lost torque, nor more. Tuned systems are just that, tuned systems, a combination designed to complement each other. If you take out more (or less) back pressure than the torque cones account for, it is still not optimal. Better? Probably. Optimal, probably not. Of course, to the average rider, the perceived power from the added noise will probably compensate for any noticeable degradation, the only place you would really notice it is if all of a sudden your friends are pulling away from you a little more than usual. But hey, it sounds cool at bike night, right?
It is possible that on some set ups he would not gain all the torque back, plus more, but on his, we have dyno tested and with the TTI's he would.

Thunder Torque Inserts are NOT torque cones. TTI's do not work on the principle of back pressure, they work by Increasing Exhaust Gas Velocity, reduction of engine pumping loss.

When I was running 4" Bassani pipes I pulled my baffles for a while and thought the bike sounded great. Problem was I was never behind the bike. Was on a ride and got caught behind some bikes going a bit on the slow side for my buddy and my taste through some twisties. Last bike in that group had no baffles. I felt bad for anyone that rode behind me so went home and put the baffles back in.

ok.. so.. that did not last long at all. I made it about 10 miles down to the gas station, and turned around and came home.. and put my V&H 4 slash rounds back on.
So, my experience was..
1. Lost of power. I could roll on the gas, but it had a noticeable loss of torque and power.
2. It started popping and spitting.. as if it was running lean or needed to be retuned.
3. Was even shutting down..
4. sounded louder.. but sound like pure CHIT!!!
So I put on the V&H 4 inch slash round with baffles.. and got back on the road and decided those were good enough for now.
now i have some D&D empty cans that I need to sale.. Any takers with a reasonable offer gets them..:-)
