It sounds to me like with the difference in interest rates you may actually break even with a new bike..... 10% is a lot more than 3%

At 14k its not even close to getting broken in. I just flipped 50k on my vivid black 09 Ultra and its running better than ever. Refi with a heloc to 5% and pay it off. I would much rather have more time to ride than any new bike!

14,000 miles. If your asking what we would do, I would keep the 10 add the parts and ride the hell out of it. But, that's just me, to each his own.

I have a 2010 Ultra and love it. Bought it about this time last year with 7,000 miles on it and will be getting the 15,000 service done on it in the morning. Even though I could buy a 2013 and pay cash for it I have no intention of doing that for many years. I never finance toys. Remember, everyone rides a used bike.

What I did was modify my '10. Look at the HP and TRQ #'s compared to the stock 103. And it's fairly unique with everything I've done to it. It's mine.

Whatever you decide, you gotta get out of that 10% loan.

How many miles on your '10 and did you buy it new? I know, I know, a lot of people say used scooters are the best buy (and they are probably right) but there is nothing quite like riding home with a brand new bike.

Don't know how long the note is on your '10 but it is alot closer to payoff than a new bike would be. Honestly I can say that I noticed a difference going from a 96" to a 103". Many say they don't. It has plenty of power for my needs. But being this close to payoff and having a stockpile of parts already you may consider keeping the '10 and putting some money into it.

Bump up the power, dechrome the fenders and get it painted solid. Maybe a metallic black over vivid black. Still have the functionality of the Ultra with the look of a Street Glide and prolly more *** than a 103".

And remember how much closer you are to payoff. Once that monthly note is gone and you are still riding around on a badass scoot it will be a great feeling.

Keep what you've got. Trading will just put you in money trouble again. There are lots of stuff to buy even with a new bike.

Now that your credit is better, you might try a Credit Union and refinance to lower your current payments.

Once you put the cams in your 96 you will be happier than a stock 103.
Make your tour pak detachable, but a sportier seat on and you've got the Street Glide looks.
If you are worried about having a warranty you can purchase and extended warranty on your current bike.

By the time you do the upgrades, you'll have more power than a stock 103.
New bike, you'll have to start all over.
New bikes are eye candy. If you do a lot of long rides, you might regret the swap.
