it depends too of the seat. I prefer my 10" with my SG seat than with Ultra seat, but a 10" or 12" on a Road King could be mounted with stock cables and brake lines which cost less.

I have the 12" OEM bars on my RKC,
Here are some numbers that may help you.

Measured from the top of the fork lock, parallel with the bars, the 12" bars are 10.5" to the top of the grips. The grips end to end measure 34". My bars basically run in line with the forks.

I can't upload to photobucket so no pics.

I DON'T want the monkey bagger bar, but the BAGGER-OEM-MONKEY-BARS.
Here in Italy some seller I contacted told me that this bar is ONLY available 10" high.
Is it true?
I'd like to buy 12" or 14"...
I'm 5'58' tall and I think these two measures are perfect for me. Have u any experience on that?

Can u help me?

thanks in advance,
Antonello
Ciao paesano from Arizona.....yes those are good measurements for your height, I too am 5-8" and the 14" are perfect shoulder height. High apes look righteous on a RK......

Here are the photos that match my earlier post. Sorry for the quality, bike was also dirty from a rain storm.

Thanks so much eric,
this info are really precious for me.
So, as my "paesano" wrote, i think the best should be a 14" bar...
It's one month i'm looking for these bars...where can i find it?
'cause all website have 12" max (in USA) and 10" (in Italy).
I have two possibilities:
1) you indicate to me some "SAFE" website where i can buy this
2) I can contact my uncle (my cousin too but i think he's too busy) in Valleyo (California): some of u know some shop in S.Francisco or Valleyo (30miles from SF)???

thanks

I bought mine here, http://www.hillcountrycustomcycles.com/

Hey,as I wrote in a previous post you don't have to involve your uncle. The majority of these companies are very reputable and can be trusted.Sometimes the item you're looking for is sold by a company on the other end of the States but that doesn't prevent you from buying from them, most of the time you simply can't find what you're looking for locally. If you have the item shipped to your uncle and he has to ship it again to you in Italy you'll be paying shipping twice, most of the time these sellers get better shipping rates than private individuals so in the end you'll be saving some money. You must add Customs duties to the cost of the bars (21%+10%), I suggest you do some math before ordering from the States as you might be in for an unpleasant surprise.
