Well First thing this morning at work we had a water main break and I was running a 90lbs jackhammer when all of a sudden the concrete gave way to a large void underneath, as I was letting go of the hammer just to let it fall my glove got rung up on the trigger which I'm told tore my bicep muscle and a tendon in my elbow leaving me with no strength what so ever in my right hand! So now I'm at home on workmans comp waiting for them to call with an appt with a orthopedic surgeon because the ER doc said its most likely surgery for me! Go figure one of the best times of year and now this! Sorry for the rant it might just be the drugs. Lol hopefully I might be able to get a half way early start on my winter mod list though!!! And I did manage to at least get a good couple rides in this weekend.
Damn, hang in there. Everything happens for a reason. It is a good time to ride in the midwest, but it will be cold as chit before we know it and the bike will be in the garage. At least it didn't happen last spring if it was going to happen.
At least you won't have to pick up that damn jackhammer for a while! Sorry to hear about the accident and your injury........get well soon and back on the road!
Yep I guess you guys are all right it could have been the beginning of the season! Going to the surgeon tomorrow afternoon...let's get this ball a rollin!
Hope all works out well for you. I know where you are comming from. Bought a new ultra classic glide June 15 and back went out in July had surgery Sep 12 looks like it will be spring before I can ride also. Good luckwith everything.
