Default Primary noise update

Ok received a call from the HD dealer and stated 1. Compensator worn in 2 spots 2. bearings are shot 3. Teeth missing off starter 4.damaged primary chain and plenty of crap in the primary fluid so he tells me due to the amount of damage the adjuster wants to see it before work can be started. So I tell he ok then I ask him what could have caused this damage he stated when I service my bike do I tighten the compensator nut I told him no its not listed just inspect in the service manual during regular service then he goes on to tell me maybe caused by my power commander tune so I stop him there and told him why dont you just blame on the 18in wheels I put on the bike...Need less to say Im pissed I change fluids every 3k and theres only 16k on bike I use amsoil and follow the service manual so I start researching this on the site and it seems like its a common problem so instead of all the bull **** why doesnt he say its a problem instead of blamming everthing and everone else....PS I have been at the there shop on sat am when they do services with no appointment and watch tech servicing bikes and never ever seen on take off primary to check compensator nut Sorry just had to vent Joe

So, are they going to cover it under warranty or are they using all the other stuff to weazel out of paying for anything?

Although I have never had an extended warranty, it appears like they are quite a bit different from the normal 2 year warranty that the MOCO puts on new equipment. In the extended warranty you are basically buying an insurance policy with a 3rd party company who uses their own adjusters when a claim comes up. In other words the insurance company uses the local franchise dealer to complete the repairs but the insurance company adjuster calls the shots as far as what gets fixed and what does not. It also appears that the adjuster is not as "friendly" when it comes to add ons as the local service manager might be.
Is this pretty much the way it works or have I read this wrong?

I took a ride over to the dealer today and took a look at the bike alot of damage including inside of the primary case scored and teeth missing off starter bearing and sleeves torn up etc but the compesator nut was not loose dont really know what caused failure but insurance is picking bill minus 87.00 for one of the bearing that was not covered....So hopefully will have my bike back in a week or so....

I'd throw in a Hayden M6 tensioner.
