19"Agitator Tire/Rim
I have been throwing the Idea around about swapping out the stock front tire on a 2012 Streetglide to the 19" Agitator rim and the lower profile looking rubber. My question is whether you can change out only the front tire/rim combo and get away with leaving the back stock tire/rim with being it's mostly covered up with the bags anyway. My concerns also were that the back tire is not the lower profile tire like that comes with the 19" agitator setup. Would this throw off anything with the ride if I decided to try this. Thanks..........

I have a 10 glide with the agitators front and rear. The 19 front has posed no problems with me. A 45 minute ride in the pouring rain this weekend at 70 to 80 mph with no wander or pull. I ride pretty hard in curves as well and cant tell much between the fat 16's on my 08 glide i had to the 19 on my 10. I have rode many bikes with mismatched overall tire diameters and could feel a slight difference but nothing that made me nervous about its handling. Some will say no some yes but its all up to you and how you feel on it.

I have this same set up on my '09. 19" on the front with stock rear. My bike is lower than stock so it may be different on a stock height bike but when the bike is going down the road I don't think its very noticeable but when its on the stand setting still it bugs me pretty bad. When the rear tire is bald it will be time for a matching rear wheel. It seems to do fine for me but I am a very new rider so I may not know or be up on what issues it could possibly have. I have rode it in some mountains and in some pretty good rain both seemed fine to me.

One of the concerns also was that it would be sticking out to much with the stock tire/rim on the back and have the lower profile tire on the front. Kinda thought it might make the back look jacked up somewhat. Can't really do both agitators tires/rims right now but thought I might get away with it for awhile if it didn't show or handle to bad. The agitator will look almost like the stock streetglide wheels with the black on it. Thanks for all the replys.....
