Rode with a few of my buddy's today, they noticed the new exhaust as soon as i pulled up. They kept complementing the CFR's the whole day. Now one if them wants to get rid of his D&D fatcat for CFR's. Calm low tone cruising, loud & deep on throttle twist. I have no regrets.

They should work great on your 103. Do you still have your stock headers? The CFRs lack some back pressure, so a 2-1-2 header will do it some justice to gain some back pressure. Some guys run the V&H X Pipe duals and I am going to try the S&S Power Tune duals this week.

As far as the sound, like hundreds of others on here have said the sound is no other. I have ran them off and on the past few years. Tried Rineharts and Hooker, but always went back to the CFRs. Everytime I ride, somebody always ask me what I am running wherever I go.

I tried a set after I sold my first set of CFRs. I sold the CFRs to try the 4" Rineharts. Missed the sound, so sold the Rineharts and bought a new set of knock offs. They are very similar and hardly any difference in design. I am on my second set of CFRs as I came across the mufflers and headers with 500 miles on them for a heck of a price from a guy in Washington and the headers had the bungs for the autotuner.

(I still have the chrome knock offs in orginal box with about 300 miles on them if anyone is interested)

I have had my CFRs on now for a few months. Best slip ons out there. I had Rineharts and they don't compare to CFRs. But you need to get true duals to get the whole package that the CFRs are.
I get compliments ALL the time.
It has made my bike a BEAST!!!!!

Im also slightly concerned about reports of discoloration from stock non tuned catted 103s my ride is tuned with a V/H fuel pak /K&N aircharger but Ive left the cat in for warranty purposes. also from what Ive read there is no real gain changing to an aftermarket head pipe(a 3to 5 HP gain is not worth the cost/hassle to me)I had some samsons drag pipes discolor on the right side with this combo
any suggestions or info is greatly appreciated..........

Call Vance and Hines, they will give you the correct settings for your fuelpak, they have great customer service. I am looking hard at the CFR's too.

Interested as well in CFR mufflers.
I have the V&H power duals, so if I get the CFR the back pressure might be ok?
