Default Switching over to S&S Power Tune Duals From True Duals

I ordered a set of S&S Power Tune Duals the other day. They are the 2-1-2 headers with a hidden crossover. They are replacing a set of true dual headers. I am trying to achieve more performance with my CFRs. I like the sound of my current setup, but always looking for a little more performance. Thought long and hard about a 2-1 or even another muffler with my duals, but can't give up that unique CFR sound. Hope I didn't make an expensive mistake, but have heard good things with the Power Tune Duals. Hope they don't dampen the CFRs too much.

The website claims an 8 H.P. increase with those headers. I'll be interested in how yours work out for you. Please post results.

I just got mine installed along with new cams. Easy install, nice fitment and they've already been mistaken for true duals. Sound is good too.

That is great to hear. I have heard a few others that have had similar results. Looking forward to the install. I have had dual headers on the bike since the second week of owning the bike. If there is a difference in sound and performance, I will know right away. If they still sound about the same and perform better, I will be happy.

Wondering the same. I run this headpipe with Bassani mufflers and have been debating switching up to CFRs or something different. This is the only other bike I have seen this combo on, got any sound clips?

Out of 7 different exhausts on 3 bikes the S&S I have on my street glide has been by far the best set.

I run a set with Rinehart mufflers and like them a lot. Enough of a torque increase that the butt dyno feels it.
