OK I have a 2 month old 2012 Ultra. All was well until today. I was talking on CB when it quit working. Then the FM radio part when very low/ then the radio went dark/ off. I stopped, shut down and then restarted started the bike, Radio came on with a message something like OUT OF REGIN / SEE DEALER then it went dark and hasn't come back on since. Taking it into the dealership in the AM, But has this happen to anyone else ???? Thanks

On the ride home from the dealer, with 40 miles on my 2012 limited the radio's display froze, then went dark. I did faintly smell burning electronics. The dealer checked it out and confirmed it was dead. They replaced it during my 1k service (2 weeks after I got the bike). Now 2500 miles and the radio is still fine. Just one of those things, no big deal to me as it is fixed now.

That was before I got my Ipod and played Motorhead! It crapped out while I was trying to crank up The Who!

 

Well... Started the bike this AM to take it to the dealership, and yes the radio now works 100%..... oh well. Took it in anyway to have them check it out, although I know they will not find anything.

As I thought..... They stated they put it on the scanner and found nothing wrong, with the standard instructions, If it happens again, bring it back. However, they did find and need to replace both the front and rear master cylinders covers and gaskets, very good as I didn't note they leaking......
