I did it!
Just came back from the dealership.
I'll have to go back tomorrow to drop off my trade-in bike, but I've already cut a check and signed those papers, rang the bell and got my T-shirt.
What a feeling, I tell you. This will be my first HD and I feel I made a good choice and got a good deal as well. Paid all of $17k (minus trade-in) for my 2011 FLHRC with ABS, Security, 103 engine and two-tone candy rootbeer paint. 10k miles on her.
Can't wait to take delivery!!!

Congrats. The RKC is a great bike. Mine is an 06 and I love it. BUT, if you do decide to use a fairing, there are plenty of after market ones out there. I put a Hoppes Quadzilla fairing on mine. Easily detachable so I can put it on and take it off depending on my mood. It's great on long trips and during the colder months. Short summer rides I have it off in 5 minutes or less. For me it's the best of both worlds.

You made a great choice!! It's a great bike and that color combo looks great, especially in the sun!

Enjoy! Ride the hell out of it and keep the rubber side down.

HD didn't make SG's when I bought my RKC but it wouldn't have mattered one whit - you can buy a bunch of different bikes with batwings, but you can buy only one that looks like a Classic!
