Don't know. Just happened today...bike was running fine, stopped at Lowes, started up, pulled onto highway and noticed " something wasn't right"..it feels like a shutter..I thought the Comp was going out, crank coming apart, broke motor mount....something...
Loaded up on trailer and off to the shop. Service manager rode and agreed something was deffently wrong, had the tech take it out and when he returned he said rear wheel bearing...\I've never had a rear bearing go out...on my 35th Harley...never had this....strange...
I'll post what ever they find...said Wednesday before they could get to it, maybe slip it in before that...

Stuff happens! At least it'll be fixed under warranty.

Called the shop today...not a wheel bearing....transmission problem.
They're going to have to pull the tranny and take it apart....still don't know for sure what failed.....

I hate this....

That's a pretty big change of course... Wheel bearing to transmission. What's it gonna be when they tell you there is nothing wrong with the trans?

I'd be questioning their diagnostic skills around this time.

I'd take an educated guess that the input shaft bearing failed.
