41 on my last tank, most of that was in the mountains between 6,000 and 9,000 feet.

06 glide classic 38 to 40 and it doesnt really matter how I ride.. Figuring my 09 silverado gets 16 maybe 17 mpg I am not gonna complain.. I didnt buy the damn thing for the mileage anyway I bought it to ride. I have a buddy that checks his every tank ? He also was on me about how many miles I got out of my Metz ME 880's . I asked him why he wanted to know? Every where he goes his buddy hauls his bike in an enclosed trailer so the mileage and tire wear doubles ..

BTU output of ethanol is 30% that of gasoline, so E10 should produce about a 3% reduction in both power and mileage over E0 gas. However, I haven't seen it on my present bike in short-run tests. I've alternated filling with E0 and E10, watching instant and average mileage from my PV display, and I see no difference. There should be some, but it isn't showing up in real-time operation. I can't feel a difference in power either.

All that said, I've seen my mileage decrease slightly in my car and bike over the past four years since E10 has become almost ubiquitous in this area.

Low 40's intown with happy twist. 50 + the highway when on cruise, and better numbers at higher altitude. 10% ethanol in our gas most of the time. No riding November through March - crappy roads and even worse gas.

In the city I don't get 20mpg. Totally the riders wrist. Highways is 50mpg. So much for a pcv being bad for mileage

Never thought about it before since my F250 4x4 get's 10 in town. When I fill my SG up, I feel like I'm getting away with robbery.

Been a resident here for 51 years and I agree with you about the crazy drivers. Was not like that before we became popular.

We just kept the CC's at between 70-75 (except when we were going through the mountains) and got great mileage. Around town I get a litttle carried away.
