Got our rooms reserved last weekend. a friend of mine reserved them. heck, i'm not even sure where yet. this will be my fourth time.

 

I probably will not be able to make it back. I'm actually trying to move out of the DC area right now!

I'll be here next year though.

 

Cool. last time my wife and i were on a superglide. cant wait to do it in style and comfort on the new streetglide!

 

I'll be there but of course I live nearby. Check out some hotels in Stafford, VA or even Fredericksburg. They will be cheaper and Stafford is only 35 mile souh on 95.

I'd offer a place here but I have about 10 family members riding down for it.

 

a large group leaves columbus,oh and stays at waldorf. we did that twice. last year im pretty sure it was fredericksburg we stayed at. all i know is the local bar near where we stayed charged 5 bucks a beer! and the place was packed.

 

Yea I will be there. I'm there every year. I really enjoy rolling thunder because I get a chance to not only reflect on our American Heroes who paid the ultimate price so that we may enjoy our freedom. I will be there. Going to ride out to LA and ride all the way to DC with Run for the Wall (RFTW). I have rode with RFTW several times but not all the way. Being a Vietnam Vet and never had a proper home coming the RFTW experience has helped me heal and I also have a greater appreciation for the sacrifices of the POW/Mia's. Irecommend RFTW to all Vet that feels like their service is not appreciated. Let's bring all the POW/Mia's home.

 

We talking Police Week or something else? If you's talking police week I'm still up in the air. Been several years in a row, but don't know about this year....Myrtle Beach is the same time and we might notmake it to police week.

You're in for an awesome experience. I've done RFTW "all the way" twice now, 2005 and 2006. Unfortunately, I'm not able to go again this year but will be back next year. If healing is what you're looking for you're headed to the right place to find it.
