Looking at getting some roller rockers and wondering if the SE units are a good choice or if I should spend the dough on S&S rollers. Any ideas?

Not trying to be a smart *ss. Just curious why you want them? A friend of mine had Redshift 575 cams installed by a very competent indy. My friend decided he wanted roller rockers and had them installed by someone else. His indy told him he wasted his money and they weren't needed until you get to very "high lift" cams.

 

I had the Refshift 575 cams, and had Baisley Heads and his roller rockers set up by him.
Geometry is better on the pushrods with them.

 

Cruzmisl, i was going to use s&s rollers with gaterman lifters, smith.adj pushrods and the same 662-2 cam.

 

I'm going to be running a tman 662 which IIRC is a 650 lift.

 

Have the SE on mine 10000 miles and all good so far.

 

I put S&S ones, I had bought for an EVO build I never got around to, in my mild 103 build for really no other reason than I had them. Only have a couple thousand miles on them, but no issues?
